A Pioneer
General Ceramics, a pioneer manufacturer in the Gulf region, was established in 1978 and ceremonially inaugurated by His Highness Sheikh Sultan Bin Mohamed Al Qasimi. The company was founded to serve the local market and meet the growing demand for high-quality sanitary ware and acrylic products.

The first bathroom suite produced by General Ceramics marked the beginning of a long journey of innovation and growth. Since then, the company has expanded its portfolio to include a wide range of sanitary ware products and bathroom solutions.

- It must conform to dimensional performance and design tolerances.
- It must be properly coated with a totally fused & contenouse glaze surface.
- The glazed surface must be resistant to chemical attack like acids and alkalis, stain proof, burn proof , rust proof, non fading and durable.
The technical aspects of a sanitary ware piece, which is crucial to its quality are generally specified as follows:

- Test for Crazing.
- Tests for chemical resistance.
